Local Rainbows
Self-Initiated
In 2020, during the lockdown, I initiated Local Rainbows, an initiative where daily light projections transformed a blank London wall into a message of hope and resilience. The idea was to combine rainbows, messages, and images created by people from around the world to brighten the days we were all experiencing at that moment and to encourage reflection. These projections were also shared live on Instagram for the same purpose.
Over 80 projections featuring works by children, artists, designers, and writers were showcased, and the initiative lit up the wall daily for a couple of months.
During this time, special projections also took place, including a commemorative collaboration with the Underdogs Gallery in Lisbon, which showcased the works of artists Shepard Fairey and Wasted Rita, and a projection including an animation from the collective Cola Animation.
Today, I still project occasionally, focusing on environmental stories. If you would like to collaborate on a projection project, drop me a line.
